This is more than bad reffing. I haven't seen this a lot in the NHL. Egregious reffing. Like, leading to two goals against baffling.

Markstrom has been above league average this year because the team has been far above league average this year.

Whether that's Keefe, defense, team defense, forwards, whatever. He's facing easier chances than last year's goalies were facing and he's hardly playing better than them.

He hasn't been Vitek bad, but he's been probably like Daws last year. He's treading water behind some pretty SAFE work.
 
Fire slapshots at the entire officating staff until they have to call their next of kin.
 
This is one of the first times I've watched a sporting event and thought "there's a legitimate chance this is rigged" lol

Hard to get your footing when the standard that has ben set is that if you play your game you're gonna get called for a penalty, and the other team can do whatever it wants.

Make a f***in save like the first round pick we traded for your ass.

This guy has been pretty close to a passenger this year.

If he played behind last year's team and performed like this you'd be looking at an .895%-.896% goalie.

You can give him a pass for the first one. That was the brutal call. But you gotta kill the penalty and his glove on that PP goal was f***in pathetic.

Yeah if this isn't an elite defensive team he's no better than Vitek and people would be losing their minds over him.
