I've been impressed with this group closing out games in the final minutes of close games.

One noticeable similarity to that team is we have Kovy again!

5v5 defense wasn't "awful" but quite a bit worse than usual. 5v5 offense much worse than their usual mediocre. PP still insane. Allen robbed them 3 times down the stretch as well. We pulled off a Ranger Classic

The last 11 mins of 3rd period was a nail biter. NJ played some sort of turtle, don't even think intentionally. Allen was fabulous most of the game

Their 5v5 game will most likely get better as they get more practice time and keep on easing into the system, not too worried about that. Extremely impressed with their defensive structure though.

Very good first quarter.

I like to have good defense, way much better goaltending than we had before, good coaching. Keefe isn't trying to teach players to control the puck and when the puck isn't under control than fire in the hole.
