I mean I wouldn’t consider 25 goals per 82 games elite goal scoring.

However, I will give it to him that it’s a tough shot but if markstrom has any situational awareness that’s not even close to being a goal
How so? Tell me how you play that differently?

If it goes through him, it under him or even top shelf short side I might bitch bad goal but against the grain top corner.

Come the f*** on.

I get we are in the middle of the honeymoon period, but man I'm a big fan of Keefe.

Might have been worth letting Burnette leave and suffering one more year of Lindy so the timing worked out and we could get him

Not like Burny is doing anything worthwhile in Nashville this year

Keefe is a great coach. Yeah it is honeymoon, but I don't see that dipping anytime soon.

As someone who was very bummed we missed out promoting Brunette after 22-23 and probably the most vocal one about it, it’s safe to say we’re better off with Keefe. This has probably nothing at all to do with how poor Nashville has been this year.

I think he’s more proven than Brunette as a head coach. I still think Brunette played a big part in the 22-23 offense and rush game, but if you pass on Brunette to hire Keefe a year later I think you’re better off.

I don’t think Brunette was all that important for the rush game. We had the rush game before and after him at an elite level. The Brunette year was the only Lindy year where the offense was actually diversified though and we were more than a rush team. We were elite on the rush and off the cycle that year

There was definitely something about that year’s team where we were just a threat on almost every shift. I’m not sure what it was.

I felt like we looked like the Panthers of the year prior, who were really dynamic and probably could have gotten to the finals/won the cup that year if they could have only gotten past Tampa.

He also got to start his NHL coaching career under the intense Toronto microscope. No doubt he learned a lot of good lessons there. He’s laughed off as a playoff failure by some so I really hope he can shake that moniker here this season and onward. One thing he will enjoy here is an embarrassment of riches on the backend. He made due with some rough D groups in Toronto

Where's Irka Turkey at tonight? Not to be seen...

Zero posts during the Panthers wins, one post to shit on the team after Tampa, nothing tonight

Typical
I don’t know. I never really take that poster seriously. Their takes always seem to be some weird devil’s advocate type of stuff.

With how bad WC2 is going to be in comparison to the other 7 playoff teams this year the 1 seed is going to be pretty huge. It’s unlikely we take the conference but this game and the Florida ones were very important to keeping that possibility alive

So...I haven't been paying much attention to the GDT lately (though I did see the game and I'm still euphoric after seeing JBITBPITNHL have himself a night).

But did everyone agree with the 3 stars of the game?

I mean...don't get me wrong : Markstrom was solid in net last night but....I don't know about him being 1st star.

I would've given the 3 stars (in order) to :

1.) Bratt
2.) Markstrom
3.) Hughes (Jack)
