Sheesh. Elite goal scorers doing something elite. If Hughes or someone else with equal hand wants to take that shot and succeeds in putting it there, he scores 99% of the time. Markstrom took away 98% of the net.
He got caught out there at the end of the second when the penalty was taken and few shifts after the PP in the third. Also a bit of a graph issue as the x-axis isn’t as far negative as it looks.

Tatar made a nice little play and pass down low to get the puck to Mercer who found Hamilton for the GWG. Wouldn’t be completely shocked if Keefe keeps Tatar on that 3rd line for Saturday but I do feel Cotter will come out with his hair on fire after his benching

Nah, he looked ok, part of the score reflects results and he was on the ice w/ Dillon for the only 5v5 GA.
Dillon’s numbers are inflated by being on the ice for 2 GF but I thought he was our worst defenseman/ heart attack generator.
I mean I wouldn’t consider 25 goals per 82 games elite goal scoring.
However, I will give it to him that it’s a tough shot but if markstrom has any situational awareness that’s not even close to being a goal
Also gotta remember, Timo playing through back spasms
So I was traveling and missed the game. Did anyone on Carolina get pummeled either within or without thr rules? Who is your least favorite Canes player and why is it Sasquatch?

I thought Timo and Nico played fine games. Both of them were fractions away from potting one since they each hit a post. Timo used his size and played physical all night. Totally fine game from them.

I also liked the third lines mentality tonight. Heavy forecheck and they were taking everything to the net
