Seems to me that all the female acts nowadays are just the children of three people,

Cherilyn Sarkisian aka Cher,
Deborah Harry aka Blondie,
Madonna Louise Ciccone aka Madonna.

The first time I heard of Lady Gaga's song Bad Romance, I did not know who was singing, I thought it was Cher.

Then I thought it was Madonna. But the leather lungs made me think it was Cher who had a new song out.

When I first saw this person singing on TV, with those sounds and those moves, I realized right then and there, that times were a-changing. She changed everything it seemed.
