I'm not sure if the Czechs are currently better than the Swiss? Every game at every level seems very even to me. If we did a best on best 7 game series I'm thinking it goes 7 games. Plus the Swiss got to the finals of the World Championships (maybe won it?) a few times in the last 4 years. Took out the Swedes at the World Junior's as well. Czech's really need Chytil, Necas, Zadina, Kaut and Hajek to be successful NHL players to remain relevant. Also, all our limited first round picks seem to be wingers. We need a few good Centre's and desperately need more NHL Dmen.

Yeah we had more succes than you the past years but i think at the moment you are a little bit stronger then us but if players like siegenthaler hischier fiala meier malgin start to develop we could get better than you guys but i dont no much about the czech prospects maybe you got some top players too

If Geo didn't make the 2016 team, he wouldn't make Canada now and there's a reason for that. Taylor Hall I could see making the team but I can't see anyone who he would replace. Hate to say, but the Canadian defense is no longer the best and will no longer be dominant.

Nope, I mean the tandem of the finnish goalies. I prefer them over the Swedish ones. Agreed, Lankinen is overrated. One tournie means zip. If he was that good, he'd be playing in the NHL. Also, let's redebate Koskinen vs Lehner after this season ends.

I was happy to see Elvis has gotten 2 starts arleady... good for him. Jumping to the NHL as a goalie is damn near impossible.

Lehner has a 918 average after well over 250 NHL games. That's pretty established.
Koskinen remains to be seen as they say you don't know what you have till at least 100 NHL games played. .906 so far after 64 games.

I do know Mikko has the better agent!lol

How good is a team when Marner is your 4th line winger and Doughty is a 3rd pair D? That's roughly 20 million in players that are now secondary.lol

The fun part about Canada teams is all the omissions... Price, Weber, Binnington, RNH, Giroux, Stamkos... whoever you want. No matter what time you pick, the omission list is always world class.

I believe that the Swiss are the best when not all NHL players are in.

Nice team ... but vs Big country teams ... it's another story.
We have our advantage when only some NHL players are free.
NOt with all. Obviously the other teams also have ALL their stars.
And we are not there yet.
