Enough is enough. We can't deal with Georgiev anymore.

Trade us your QUALITY backup Goalie. We need a reliable option for when we don't dress Igor.

What about Braden Holtby for Georgiev and Hajek?

stop w/excessive win now

we all know it is a given Geo will have weak games and others where he stonewalls the most potent of offenses

we don't want to trade assets better applied otherwise,
and
we don't want to add salary we can't afford next season

all for moving Geo, but only b'c he can be replaced by Wall.

Strome + Geo both have to go so their cap hits can be applied to Fox's extension, happy to deal both for draft picks which have no immediate cap associated and thus create roster spots needed for Krav +.

context
OP is overreacting.
Shesty gave up 4 goals vs Buf tonight.
Should we get rid of him also?

Koskinen is 9W-2L with 2.96GAA and .910

Quality backup who you can walk away from at the end of the year.

Straight swap

this made sense in the offseason too I just thought NYR would get a pick too but not so much now

Yeah this is the type of guy that would make sense for the Rangers to trade for. Overpriced, but solid backup with a contract that expires at the end of the year. Have cap space this season and can figure out cheaper backup option in the off-season.

Would Edmonton do this? The way Georgiev is playing, he could cost the team a playoff spot by dropping so many points when he starts

Are you looking for cap space for a trade deadline move? Otherwise, I'm not sure why this benefits Edmonton. Georgiev has had some decent years, but this year he's above 4 goals against with an .858 save %. That's just not good. Limited minutes and confident issues from sitting on the bench maybe, but there's too many stoppable shots going in, which can't be justified by great saves because he's not really making any.
