Woll

Least faves:

Dewar (ok at best)
Domi (at times)
Jarnkrok (no room, not a fan)

Generally speaking faves:

Matthews
Nylander

1. John Tavares - He’s still my guy. Ride or die with him.
2. Morgan Reilly - He’s been here forever and always scores big goals. The way he reacted after that Ottawa empty net slapped tells me all I need to know.
3. Auston Matthews - Can’t not name the 69 goal scorer on my list like come on.

Honourable Mention: Chris Tanev. What a beauty.

Least
1. Ryan Reeves - I don’t get his purpose. Zero fights this year. Like do your job man.
2. Pontus Holmberg - Hasn’t earned the trust he’s been given. No hands. Just so blah.
3. David Kampf - Nothing against him I like the player and his hustle but 2.4M for a 4th line center is a luxury we can’t afford.

Honorable Mention: McCabe actually used to be on this list for me. It wasn’t the right move at the time to give up what we did and he didn’t play well frankly. But He’s earned my trust and respect and I can’t believe I trashed him the way I did. I’m sorry Jake I shouldn’t have doubted you sir.

HM: Benoit - great interviews and he’s grown on me as a player!

Don’t really dislike anyone, this might be the most likeable roster I can remember in a while.

Lmfao and the guy making 13 sheets also is not greedy and doesn’t care about his wallet! Make it make sense, which player in pro sports doesn’t care about how much they make?

What makes this era so tough is that everyone is looking for someone to blame! The reality is if Matthews really cared deeply, he would have took one look at our cap structure and said I’m gonna set the tone and focus on winning, take a little bit less and the rest of the guys will follow. I think if Matthews comes in at 12 something Willy and Marner’s numbers come lower too, it starts with 34 really. But all of them are selfish to a degree.

First, I'll make it whatever I want , it's my fav list. I could complain about your list too if I cared.

Second, hard not to be a fan of 69 goals. Matthews is a unicorn. So while I'm not a fan of his greed, his accomplishments (MVP and Rockets) speak for themselves.

Marner on the other hand hasn't accomplished nearly as much and yet demands the same kind of money. It's obvious when you actually think.

I'll admit, Nylander has dropped out of the fav list tho. Probably Stolarz or McCabe is more preferable.

Least favourite is a game by game feeling. Marner and Kampf have that feeling often but other times Marner plays great shot blocking difference making fun to watch hockey.

Mostly I don't dislike anyone on the current Leafs but I don't like any of them as much as my idols of youth.

Robertson, Kampf and Timmins least favorite

There aren’t any players I actively dislike on the team, though
 
I'll cheer for anybody that's a Leaf, and I like most of the players well enough, but I'd probably say my favourites are Matthews, Marner, and McCabe. Reaves is really the only one I dislike. Domi is annoying a lot but even he has his moments.

I don't have 2 others, Kampf's a very frustrating player to watch.

I like this team more than any other during this "era"

MY fav forwards are Matty, Marner and Knies.

Mf fav D are Tanev, OEL and Reilly. McCabe was close but concussions are worrisome.
 
I used to not like Nylander but he is growing on me. He is calm as a cucumber. If he was sleeping and someone yelled at him that his house is on fire he would ask what end of the building is it at, then go back to sleep.

Timmins has taken 9 minors in 36 games.
