raty just can't close the gaps. don't see an nhl player there

lekkerimaki looks a lot better than i expected. kudryavtsev has some issues defending but otherwise looks great. no one else has really stood out

Watching alriksson have some pretty decent shifts on ice, I'm a little surprised he didn't produce more last season. His skill set pops a little

I wish he was a little more physical though

A surprising amount of speed and an effective power move to the net. Confusing that he had such a bad season in the OHL.

Liking Romani more than Patterson who's been a little lost.

Sasson doing Herculean work carrying that 2nd line.

Alriksson is pretty understated for a big guy. Not sure if he'll cross the line for NHL games.

It's been already stated, but 25 yr old Hirose getting pushed around is probably the most shocking takeaway of the night. More than Lekkerimaki being closer than we might think.

Goalies on both sides have looked very good.

Pattersson showing his talent despite clearly needing more physical maturity. Alcos also looks pretty confident and doesn't out of place for being one of the youngest guys here. Romani has been okay but struggles to gain separation to get chances at this level.

Anybody else noticed Lekkerimaki checking out on plays too early a bit? Saw it earlier when he wanted a penalty, and saw it a bit just there.

Probably the most dominant performance I've ever seen at the Young Stars haha...combination of this team being good and the Oilers being terrible.
They squeezed the Oilers to death tonight

Kudrayatsev was a stand out. Hirose on the other hand showed me nothing
