OT: Yahoo Fantasy Hockey/NHL Video Game Thread

How many of those 20 transactions will go towards filling some of those holes ;)?
 
Hey all. I wanted to get some insight from Rangers fans about what you guys expect from Marc Staal this year. I have him on my fantasy team and was wondering if he's worth keeping. It's a 20 team league so there's not a lot of other options, it's basically him or Roman Hamrlik. Will Staal be on the top paring? Will he get much PP time? Any input will be appreciated.
 
Staal is the defacto #1 here getting top line minutes every night. At the end of last season it seemed like he came to a better understanding of Tort's system and started putting up a few points. If he picks up where he left off we could be seeing him start to really round out his game.

In a 20 team league I would keep Staal.

Absolutely hang onto Staal if Hamrlik is the next best option. In a deep league he is certainly worth the spot and could easily breakout offensively with the minutes he'll be getting.

hey guys, I could use some help with my head-to-head (points) fantasy league. I'm commish, and i've been trying to change a couple of settings: first, the minimum number of games needed by your goalies each week from 3 to 0. And second, I want to switch roster changes from daily to weekly. However, every time I make the change under league settings, nothing happens. It's only happening with these two settings.

I've emailed their help people like 5 times, and not once have I gotten a response. Anyone know what I can do?

Not really sure, but perhaps the type of league (H2H Points) has certain settings that cannot be set below a certain value (3), or changed at all. (daily to weekly)

If not, it just sounds like a bug to me.

I would assume you can't have "0" goaltender appearances. Did you try "1"?

How many roster moves are you allowing? I'm wondering if it conflicts with the use of weekly changes.

I've tried changing the number of appearances to any other number, and it always stays at three.

Also, I have no restrictions on number of roster moves.

I just wish yahoo's help team were a little more...helpful.

Karlsson/Subban (In terms of fantasy value potential, I think these two are interchangeable at the moment.)
Timonen
Campbell
Johnson

The last 3 are all close in point production. I put Johnson last since he will probably log the least minutes out of those three. They will probably all be on the second PP unit however. Karlsson and Subban should be the 1st.
 
Ok so I was short on time and was able to get into 2 espn leagues right away but none in yahoo. It's 10 team leagues which seems tiny but might be better for a novice like myself. I got 1st pick in 1 and 9th in the other. Lots of guys that I know nothing about so I used the espn rankings and projections quite a bit. Both are h2h each category. Basic scoring. How'd I do?
