OT: Yahoo Fantasy Hockey/NHL Video Game Thread

Both of us favor our trade getting completed, and both of us value our players in ways that we see this trade as benefiting us. Now there shouldn't be a problem with the rest of the league getting in the way, even though we both have clearly presented our cases.

The new deal is a lot better. He could have gotten a lot more, but it's his mistake. Elliot has been on fire, as have the Blues. I don't really see them slowing down, watching them play a hand full of times recently.

Carter has been hurt and his play has suffered greatly because he is pissed about the trade this summer. Not to mention the entire team has been playing like absolute crap.

Again, in a keeper league, Carter for Elliot is cool. Short term gain VS long term gain.
 
In League 6, i'm looking for upgrade my D and LW primarily. Also looking to add some depth to my goaltending.

Available are Jokinen, Glencross, Umberger, Lecavelier, Thornton, Varlamov, and Crawford.

Serious Fantasy Hockey Question:

Is Dubinsky even worthy of a roster spot at this point? My leagues offensive categories:
G, A, SOG, +/-, PPP.
I'm really considering just dumping him and using his spot to pickup/drop players on a rotational basis depending on whose playing that given night (a fairly common strategy).

The only thing holding me back is my Rangers homer-ism; even if I drop him and he starts to turn it around i'll obviously be just as happy.

Thoughts comments concerns?

I would drop him, but im one of those people who stay away from Rangers in fantasy for whatever reason.
 
Anyone interested in taking over a team? It's an 8-league team(I had 10 last year and not everyone checked it so I was only able to find 7 others that I knew personally to check it. One obviously doesn't so I'm coming here) The team is in last place, mainly because it rarely gets checked. It's Yahoo! too btw.

so I am trying to upgrade my C spot in fantasy......offering Stastny and our boy Cally for Kopitar and a filler.............I have Brown and Eberle as my 2 RW keepers..........at C Seguin and Stastny..............

bias aside would ya deal Cally , Stastny for Kopitar?.............he countered with Seguin and Eberle but they are good young keepers so cant do that, thoughts?
 
Playing NHL 07 again. Jagr finishes the year with 90 goals and 159 points. Wins no awards nor does he rank first in any stats. :laugh:

he was on my bench but finally just dropped him, overall rankings he is still not terrible likely cause of all the Penalty Minutes.........i imagine he's on most waiver wires in 2 line leagues only...............he is worth quite a bit in deeper leagues

Congrats. Just managed to dig out of the grave myself. Still looking to trade goalies for forwards.

I'm willing to do a 2 for 1 deal for the right forward.
