CPU Trade Proposal:

:wings

Dmitrj Jaskin (69 overall, 21 years old, 4 yellow stars)

:nucks

C Paul Stastny (85 overall, 28 years old)
2015 2nd Round Pick

I need to get rid of Stastny's salary to get under the cap. Vancouver needs a guy like Stastny because without him their best two centers are Ryan O'Reilly and Zack Smith.

Note to Benny: I accidentally sent them an offer with my 2020 2nd round pick instead of the one from 2015. Please make sure you approve the one that includes my 2015 pick!

Approved.

Well F I just noticed my Campbell-Cole+ deal didn't go through.. wow I've checked it a few times since and didn't even see lol. Resent with having to add yet another cap dump from NJ.

I need to move Enstrom. He makes too much money to be my #4 d-man.

He's 29, 84 overall, and has sick offensive stats. He just makes 7.2 mil a season, and I have about 300k in cap space so I can't make roster moves.

I would want a 2nd pairing defensive d-man coming back under 32 and 82-85 overall. If at all possible I would like to save at least 2 mil (so a 5 mil per average or less)

Just remembered, Benny when are you doing that random draw for Karlsson?

And can we turn off waivers.. 1. TB just claimed Kulikov from NJ and 2. I want to send some guys down that I couldn't due to my 23man, 0.15M from the floor cap lol..

last crack at nick bonino (26 yrs, 3 gold *, 79 ov, 3*2.115 mil). pretty good offensive center from the bottom six, good defensive awareness, only 60 face-offs.

I sent out trade in through the app AT

Also:

To WSH:
Tobias Enstrom
(30 years old, 84 overall)

To PHX
Andy Macdonald
28 years old, 84 overall)

Players don't really improve past 27ish, and Enstrom is pretty damn good for 84 overall. This is strictly to save me 2.5 mil and get more of a two way guy since I already have Whitney and Subban in my top 4.

***BREAKING***

sources are confirming that phoenix has moved rfa center pither and lw bennett for islander's goalie prospect graham and lw tedenby.

"the islanders do a good job of clearing a bit of a logjam at the goaltending position. they had two good prospects in pasquale and carrozzi, who are behind two young nhl goalies in bernier and marksrom. they deal from a position of strength to get an intriguing young player in bennett to help fill a mediocre left wing talent pool the islanders have."

"that's right, bennett has struggled so far in his nhl career, but is still young and has potential. how about phoenix addressing their goalie situation?"

"yeah, phoenix really only has one good goalie, prospect or otherwise, in their system and that's eddie lack. a good player, but they desperately needed someone else in the system."

"phoenix also moves pither, who couldn't resign with the coyotes due to their cap situation."

"yeah, phoenix really didn't need him, as they had six centers ahead of him on the depth chart. he had no future there. as you said, good young player, but really had no shot staying in phoenix."

"and on tedenby, it seems as though islanders management was shopping him. they didn't feel that he was producing enough and was being squeezed out. he has skill, and he's a good skater. maybe a change of scenery will bring out the tedenby we know is in there."

"alright, thanks for your thoughts on that trade gentlemen. word on the street is that the islanders are still looking to make some moves. stay tuned"

Well considering imo i got Karlsson 100% fair and his cap hit stopped me from making offers in free agency...

I had that problem last season. Only 2 fixes, wait long enough into the season that someones cap hit is small enough to send down or trade a roster player for a player with a higher cap hit. Maybe Enstrom? :P

Washington gets the older, bigger cap hit, same overall player? Whats it in for them?

Declined. Washington needs more.

I dunno, Enstrom is only two years older, and better offensively (I think). I think it's a fair swap.

Would you guys accept it if he added a pick?

How about this one:

To CAR:
Enstrom
Lander (23 years old, 76 overall, 3.5 stars, AHL'er)

To PHX
Daley (31 years old, 84 overall)

They take on 4 mil, so I downgrade the player a tad, and give them a player that could turn into a 3C as all of their centers are 30+ years old, he just has no spot on my team.

It's not really fair when you were in the top half of the league and still got him, probably 3 people saw lol..

Not my fault. People had the same chance as me to claim. I was simming at that exact time whether or not Karlsson was on waivers.

So, last time I checked, my team was 6-1-1 and doing pretty well.

Now we are 8-14-1, and my leading scorer is Jason Garrison with 13 points - ahead of Doughty, Couture, Pavelski, Galchenyuk, Higgins, Zibanejad...

Seems legit. Thanks EA.

you shouldn't have nabbed pavelski from me. i was close to pulling the trigger in a deal for him.

maybe i'm better off without him at third in the east.
