What picks did you have? I got a 4 star winger (Nick Baptiste) at the 6th pick.

And lmao, really? Jesus, someone trade for those guys. #FreeMacKinnon #FreeTurakov

Had 7th, 25th and 30th but only got one 4* prospect and 2 3*s that wont turn out to anything probably. Could've at least gotten 2 3.5*s with the other 2..

I guess so.
I didn't get any 3.5 star guys either, but I forgot to set priority for the second round and such. Only set it for the top 10 to make sure I got a winger if possible.

Trading Block

The Columbus Blue Jackets have quite a few players on their trading block, mostly young, up-and-coming prospects. If you're interested in them, send me a PM. Preferably, I would like to package a few of them for a top-end winger.

Available players:

C Laurent Dauphin (56, 19 years old, 4.5 yellow stars, 3 years left on ELC)
C Boone Jenner (69, 21 years old, 4 yellow stars, 2 years left on ELC)
D Jamie Oleksiak (74, 21 years old, 4 yellow stars, 1 yr left on a 2-way deal)
D Philip Larsen (79, 24 years old, 3.5 yellow stars, RFA but I offered him a 3 year deal)
RW Patrick Holland (70, 22 years old, 3.5 yellow stars, 1 year left on 2-way deal)
D Johnny Boychuk (79, 30 years old, 1 year left @ $3.4M)

That's some good **** right there. Send me offers!

I am Chicago.. and I really didn't think I would have the first pick, actually coming 3rd last. Oh well.

If anyone wants to send trade offers my way, I will gladly look them over.

For whichever guy you want. "Free" whoever you like. Just know that without a 1st line winger both will stay around.

Good to know you're GMing Chicago. The CPU would just play them all at center, but if you keep them you can put them all on the same line.

You could keep them and do MacKinnon - Crosby - Turakov :amazed:

Well at least one of them will be 2nd line centre. Don't want Peter Mueller there!

I'm actually doing a GM as Florida right now, Mueller has been my 2nd line center for the first two years. He scored 57 points in year one and 59 points in year two. 85 overall now.

I'm not so sure about that...this draft had some of the worst depth I've ever seen in the game. With my list around 15th there were not even any 3.5's left.

Holy crap! Zack Hamill unbusted. He was 75 overall and my 4th C for like 37 games. He had 9 points and was -1 and I scratched him for the rest of the season.

He jumped to 85 overall with like 97 offensive awareness, 98 passing, and so forth.

I don't know how that happened haha. I was just about to put Etem on the block for a center, which I now no longer need.

If anyone happens to be rebuilding and wants to trade a first line winger (85+), please PM me. I can package you some good young prospects, as mentioned earlier.

I'll try to get one from the CPU if no one contacts me before free agency begins.

CPU Trade Proposal:

:cbj

3rd round pick

:sabres

LW Ville Leino (80 overall, 30 years old, $4.5M)

This trade is just a cap dump. They accepted it.
Leino has been a good player the past two seasons (54 points, then 47 points), but I really need to move his cap hit.

Updated Trading Block
Everyone Must Go

Available:
D Philip Larsen (79 overall, 24 years old, 3.5 yellow stars. Signed for three years at $1.63M. Very good contract)
D Johnny Boychuk (79 overall, 30 years old. Signed for one more year at $3.4M. Good third-pairing guy in this game but I don't have space for him)
RW David Jones (77 overall, 29 years old. Signed for one more year at $4M. It's a bad contract but if you need to take on salary you can have him for a late-round pick)

Looking for:
a 3.5 or 4 star goalie prospect
draft picks

If I don't get who I want in free agency, then I will be in the market for a first line forward again.
