The new title is nice, at least when compared to the current WWE and Universal title. I always thought the WWE could be greatly improved by just background gold behind the WWE logo, instead of just more black leather.

Triple H and WWE are calling the new one the world heavyweight championship, but the actual belt just says World Champion. I prefer that. I never liked having "heavyweight" in their titles.

The truth is they wanted to do a re-design and instead of just having someone come out with a new belt, they just did this.

That's what they had. But the networks want a brand split, and they also want a world champion. Eventually one day they'll do what they just did (again) and have one person win both belts.

But yeah, my preference would be to just elevate the Intercontinental title. Walter has claim to being the top champion anyways.

I'm hoping once Reigns drops the title, they retire the "Universal" name in it.

Go back to having a WWE champion and a World champion (if they are dead set on having 2 primary titles).
