Well Cody attacked Drew because he is a good babyface and isn't going to let him cheap shot Seth.

There really isn't a good kayfabe reason why he would give away his shot, and I don't think we are going to get one.

They probably lean on the shoot side of this going forward as it seems pretty clear most of the audience gets there is shoot stuff going on with this.

Could do it in TLC match too, maybe better? Ciampa/Gargano hangs on to one tag belts, Dunne/Bate onto others. Both grab them at the same time.

So here is an example of where the booking is hyper obvious. Becky is winning the chamber match and going on to face Rhea. But that's totally OK it's a match everyone wants.
