I'm not disagreeing that it was dumb... But I don't think you've paid much attention to Truth over the last 10 years if the argument is, "He's acting like a bumbling idiot, surely he's not that tone deaf".

Illogical and unrealistically stupid humor is literally Truth's gimmick. It's just weird to introduce that into serious, main event matches.

If there's not a big angle coming here with Truth either getting the shit kicked out of him to get heat on Judgment Day, or Priest turning face on behalf of Truth, it's pretty dumb to be having Truth's involvement influence main events with star players.
Agree. Truth has gotta be the one to cost Priest his cash in. It just doesn't make sense to continue this angle otherwise. Either that's the end game or they should have killed the angle dead when Priest choke slammed him into oblivion.

They even teased it with Truth going to put the money in the briefcase.

My money would be on Priest going babyface.

JD is a jobber at the end of the day, and Dom is clearly not going face, so when the group fractures, it's either Priest or Finn. And they have done nothing to signal that Finn's going face.

Watching raw now, and through two hours I’m entertained. The Cody and Punk segment was a whole lotta nothing, but it was the first time in a long time that Cody didn’t annoy me. They were perfect.

I can’t help but feel like they’re just testing reactions for Gunther as a potential Rollins feud, and also testing Punk v Cody

Why a Hogan video package though? Go the f*** away. Forever.

He was one of the worst I've ever listened to.

That said, I don't like seeing people flat out lose employment. I feel he would be much better as a pre-show host or something.
Probably couldn't been used as a backstage type interview. Any time you need a "journalist" take a bump, it's him

I'm wondering if they caught him leaking stuff to the sheets.
That's my thought. This is one of the few things that makes sense to go from "he's in danger of losing his spot on the commentary team" to outright released a week later.

Looking back at RAW, that was a very face-sounding interview with Gunther at Rollins. I truly hope they're not going in that direction.

Doesn't sound like LA Knight is losing steam. Biggest pop for him in a while.

Elektra coming up makes sense.

Carlito f***s off and El Idolo comes back to be the equalizer?
