I love Truth but that whole storyline should have been killed dead last week when Priest chokeslammed the shit out of him. They gotta have Truth cost Priest the cash in, right?
Hogan in the Rumble with Sheamus, Drew and Gunther doing the Kevin Puder on himGive me Brock throwing Hogan around and I’ll laugh so hard

How about no? We don't want Hogan's pecs breaking one of their hands!
The original booking was this, and then Gunther tosses Hogan, but this was squashed by one swift "That doesn't work for me, brother".I'm seeing Hogan with Punk in one hand and Cody in the other, eliminating them both at the same time

This is one way to get WCW level heat and have people throwing shit into the ring at him. After dumping Punk and Cody, he can pick up Okada and throw him like a javelin thru Gunther's chest, eliminating both of them, permanently, back to destroy the foreign menace one more time
Insider also confirming that Kevin Patrick is out of the smackdown commentary desk
His promo ability has improved so much. Over/under 9 months or so before he is world champ?

I feel like they tossed darts at a wall for the main event. It was kind of a mess. That was one of the dumbest main events in recent memory.
Priest already told Truth not to give him his "cut" from merch sales as he had to deal with Drew. Then all main event is Truth trying to give him money like he's some bumbling idiot. I know Truth is a comedic act, but he's not THAT tone deaf to keep coming back trying to give the guy money during a match.
They could have skipped the entire backstage segment, had Truth show up mid-match with Priests money and it would have made a lot more sense. Priest would have been pissed seeing him for the first time and it could have cost him the match that way.I feel like they tossed darts at a wall for the main event. It was kind of a mess.

That's what I mean, though. He never, ever does this schtick in main events or high profile storylines. Yet there he was in the midst of a big match between one of the Rumble favourites and the MITB holder trying to play his comedic role.I'm not disagreeing that it was dumb... But I don't think you've paid much attention to Truth over the last 10 years if the argument is, "He's acting like a bumbling idiot, surely he's not that tone deaf".
Illogical and unrealistically stupid humor is literally Truth's gimmick. It's just weird to introduce that into serious, main event matches.
If there's not a big angle coming here with Truth either getting the shit kicked out of him to get heat on Judgment Day, or Priest turning face on behalf of Truth, it's pretty dumb to be having Truth's involvement influence main events with star players.

I don't blame Truth, I blame booking for the stupidity of that main event.
I don't think so, I think the schedule was too much for him. If he returned, it would likely be NXT and moving Vic Joseph to Raw and Michael Cole back to Smackdown. That's how it should work, anyways. No more revolving door of announcers until Cole wanna retire.Mauro would be an incredible add to Smackdown.
Gotta think with HHH in charge, Mauro would at least be a bit more willing to come back.
