Charlotte should be the one on the receiving end of that type of move. She's way too big compared to the majority of the roster to be doing that regularly. I don't even know why she did the moonsault as Asuka wasn't even close enough to attempt a catch.

The Arctic
Yeah, Iyo does it much safer, granted she is carrying less mass.
She is, but she actually rotates it correctly. I cringe when I see Charlotte do it.

It wouldn’t be nearly as bad if she isn’t fully rotated by the time it “hits” - you’re putting the person on the receiving end in a tough spot trying to catch a boot coming at their head.

They're only good when it's in the context of a wrestler hitting another wrestler and is now in big trouble because they are going to get a beat down. Maybe if they whiff on a move or something but this was someone slipping that could have injured one or both of them. It wasn't the type of situation where a you f***ed up chant was warranted.

The crowd didn't react much to Punk's aew reference. Some markets/crowds may have appreciated his comments more than this crowd or maybe there isn't much crossover amongst wwe fans.

Just catching up on SD. That’s the Punk I’ve been waiting for. There’s so many possibilities.

Give me Punk/KO
The promo was fine. Not his best, but better than most others i suppose. I just liked the overall focus on Punk throughout the show, and how they left him open to feud with so many different guys. It was a well written show.

I liked the promo more then you, but I also agree I liked his backstage interactions more.

Pushed the larger narrative of backstage strife over Punk returning while planting lots of seeds.

Seth/Punk is going to feed families.

With one show they made it unbelievably easy to usher Punk into a major feud with Cody/KO/Rollins/Jimmy and Jey/Solo/Roman/Brock

All they’d have to do is say the word at this point and I’m buying in

Think you also have to have Punk and Cody in the final 4, if not the final 2, in the Rumble.

Punk wanting to finish his story and main event Mania potentially at the expense of Cody's story is an excellent Rumble storyline.

Cody and Punk have to be the final 2. And I’m not sure who should win because Cody winning again is lame but the winner should pick Roman.

Yeah that's the one issue with Punk winning. How do you do a good story where he doesn't pick Roman?

It's not impossible as Seth could snap and basically force his hand, but it will be hard to avoid the fact that he purposefully chose not to main event night 2 for night 1.

Agreed. The winner has to challenge Roman. He’s too huge to not be the target.

Would be a decent curveball to me if Mania was Seth v Cody and Punk v Roman, even though i think the true money match is Seth v Punk right now.

Maybe you do a thing where the champions are in the rumble and they pick their opponents if they win, with Seth winning it.

I'm not sure you even want Punk in the elimination chamber with how brittle he is either.

You can have Punk sit on the decision if he wins and maybe have Seth make it personal and basically force Punk to choose him.

Like it seems how they are going to build that feud is Punk remaining happy go lucky while Seth basically loses his mind screaming how it's a farce and he is still a hypocrite.

This works for me. Go with this and call it a day.
