Nah, f*** that. He has one arm and has been getting throttled for months now.He is the biggest babyface in the company. Of course he should be booked to win.
Yeah, lackluster show. I still think Summerslam will be good though. Wonder what surprises there will be? I'm sure there will be a return or two.Really rough show. No stip for Cody vs Brock. No Rhea on Summerslam card and now Becky is missing the card too.
Poor job by HHH

I don't think you can overflow the card too much, either. The matches on there right now are the ones that have had somewhat of a build.Really rough show. No stip for Cody vs Brock. No Rhea on Summerslam card and now Becky is missing the card too.

Trish/Becky just needs to stop, there's zero heat.
No one cares enough about Raquel, either.
HHH has always been a quality over quantity guy.
Ricochet vs Paul will probably go 15 mins.
Battle Royal will probably go 15-20 mins.
Gunther vs Drew will probably go 20 mins.
Roman vs Jey will probably top 20 mins, maybe even closer to 30.
Asuka/Charlotte/Belair will probably be 15-20.
Finn vs Seth will probably go 20.
Rousey vs Baszler will go 10-15
Brock vs Cody will probably be one of Brocks longer matches. I think it goes 10-12 for sure.
Throw in a segment here and there and that's eating up a good chunk.
It also doesn't hurt to put big matches on weekday shows, either. That's what I find lacks these days with WWE. I'm not saying you have to blow off Cody/Brock on a RAW, but something like Trish/Becky doesn't need SS.Fair point. The theoretical card was really large and it was clearly something was getting cut.

The matches on RAW/SD are essentially weak, cookie cutter matches because they devote every decent match to a PPV. How many Judgment Day vs KO/Seth/Sami variations have we seen over the past month?
Mix in a big match here and there, mix in a gimmick match (cage, no dq, LMS) whatever. That's why I find the product hard to watch lately.
6 man tag, 3 minute womens match, match that ends in dq, match that ends in dq, match that ends in a distraction, 2 minute womens match.
Or tag team feuds where...And don't forget the classic singles match between to guys from tag teams/factions, that gets blown up in the first 30 seconds, goes to commercial and we come back to a tag match/ 6 man tag
A Lesnar loss obviously doesn't hurt him but man, he has been kicking Cody's ass for weeks now. How is Cody supposed to win?
It would be even more weird for Lesnar to be working for his biggest rival in the company. This prolonged bland 4-month feud had better lead to something better than a Cody Rhodes win and that's the end of it. Still haven't given a reason why Brock Lesnar just randomly attacked Rhodes after WM.
Somehow my gut tells me this will eventually be incorporated into the Bloodline story. Is Lesnar working for Heyman and Reigns?
It would be even more weird for Lesnar to be working for his biggest rival in the company.
The way they wrote it though, there is still an insinuation that the ties between Heyman and Lesnar were never cut off. Only that Heyman was for Roman in times that he absolutely had to be.It would be even more weird for Lesnar to be working for his biggest rival in the company.
This is my biggest thing.Any weirder than when Austin joined forces with Triple H about 6 weeks after a vicious feud?
I think that is the point. It wouldn't be expected and just as it looks like Reign's world is falling apart, he rises up and emerges with a new powerful faction that includes a very powerful associate in Lesnar. Factor in the Heyman connection and the fact Lesnar is basically wrestling's ultimate mercenary in real life. He just wants to come in, do business, make a pile of money, and go home again.
Where do Rhodes and Lesnar go after this, regardless of who wins? Their feud hasn't made any sense from the start.
This is my biggest thing.
Why? Why is it happening?
Have you seen Trish's nose? It's obvious she's not cleared yet.Trish vs. Becky can’t make Summerslam?
That was supposed to be the whole reason Trish stuck around.
There has to me more to it that they haven't revealed yet. No history, no back-story, not fighting over a title, neither screwed the other over previously, not fighting over a female, nothing.
With the long-term storytelling going across the promotion I have to think there is more to this story than meets the eye.
