Closer to a third considering it will be #62 - #63 pick overall and the Caps still have Boston’s 2nd round pick for next year.
This one is the most mind numbing of all of the trades from yesterday…
He was traded for a 5th round pick each of the last 2 seasons before this one.
This season (because he’s only paid 1.25 mill instead of the 4.1 mill he was previously making) he goes for a 2nd.
Anyways…I’d love to see Beauvillier play well. He had a couple of nice playoff runs with the Isles ~5 years ago and apparently NHL GM’s have long memories.
