Yuck, hate it for my Caps. Of all teams we want to completely overpay for Pens-scrabs that we really didnt need at all. Cool..

Gotta hope there is more moves for Caps to come for this to make any sense.

What a massive over pay but I guess that's the going rate in almost all trades this year. GMs really do hate the 2025 draft class

Beauvillier's better than Vrana, especially if you're talking bottom 6.

He's like Hagelin. Not the Hagelin that had that crazy year with Bonino & Kessel, the Hagelin a couple years later.

Damn. Great year to be a seller...
It surely looks that way I wish Waddell would realize that and move a few pending UFA's. Columbus has improved but they are not ready for prime time just yet. I hope he at least has his phone on.
As for the Pitt/Wash I don't like it for the Caps, I would rather they used a 2nd rd. pick as a plus and added an Experienced top 4 D-MAN who is able to cover mistakes of an overzealous Offensive D-man or a younger D-man
someone who plays a hard physical game who blocks shots maybe they will in the off season

I'm kinda surprised that's all Washington is doing. They've got a ridiculously easy path to the ECF, I know they're not a legit contender but this seems like a good year to burn a 1st rd pick
