That's a weak rule, it's natural instinct to aide your teammate in that kind of context.

IMHO, it's only because the Canucks are playing a third-string AHL callup that the games of this series have even been close. Oilers have McDavid, Draisatl, Eckholm, a few average players, and then a bunch of pretty bad ones who are obviously in over their head in playoff hockey.
