About 5 of Boyle's minutes came on the PK. What is wrong with his ice time, then? He's going to be out there after the PK from time to time before a line change, too.

What's wrong with it is he still has 7:03 Even+PP and the PP TOI is not equal to 0:00 (or a few seconds if out for faceoff). Along with the fact that hagelin and kreider have inexplicably combined for 8 minutes. Hagelin had 2 shifts in the 2nd period.

At what point does a player need to earn his ice time?

We all used to ***** about players getting unearned time and not being accountable. Kreider has done nothing but float around and play with his head up his ass except for one single game this season (his first game after the call-up). At what point is this on the player and not on the coach?

It's hard to blame this on Torts since Kreider was doing the same **** in the AHL.
