NoCopp + a 2nd 2022 for 1st 2022 and a 3rd 2023
NoCopp + a 2nd 2022 for 1st 2022 and a 3rd 2023
I think both costs firsts but keep in mind there is a difference in contractual status this summer.3 assists actually
if Lekhonen costs a first, Copp definitely should as well
Can Winnipeg take another roster player?
I'd like to get Coop and Stastny in one deal.
Take out the 2nd and it’s a deal.Copp + a 2nd 2022 for 1st 2022 and a 3rd 2023
I feel like he's been playing more wing outside the dot.Copp is a centre and more versatile.
Justin Barron and a middleish pick? Would it really take an additional late 1st too? I guess I'd say, do it. Now's the time.
Interesting. I knew he crossed off Byram and Newhook but I didn't realize Barron was also on the list.Sakic has said he's not moving Barron, Newhook, or Byram.
I don't believe Barron is untouchable, but doubt he's in play for Copp.
Interesting to see teams like TBL and FLA who go all in to win and teams like COL and NYR who want to try to minimize their costs but still compete with the teams going all in.Sakic has said he's not moving Barron, Newhook, or Byram.

I'd keep him if it doesn't return a first. See if anyone gives inApparently they had a few "two seconds" offers, but they're waiting for a first.
I think it ends up being a second and a solid prospect and maybe another later pick.
Billeck I assume means irons in the fire and not irons in the first lol.
He's been playing wing because the Jets wanted to use him on a line with Lowry, but any time over the last 2 years that the Jets have had an injury at center in their top 6 Copp was the guy who filled that hole.I feel like he's been playing more wing outside the dot.
It is. Sakic needs to realize that this is a really good window to be in and not be covetous of Barron who is a question mark.Interesting to see teams like TBL and FLA who go all in to win and teams like COL who want to try to minimize their costs but still compete with the teams going all in.
Will be curious if COL doesn’t pay the prices for players and get knocked out, what the discussion will be.
I’d say the price of Barron + for Copp is a damn good deal for a contending team looking for a Cup… but that’s my opinion

You can have Statsny for Beaucage + 3rdEh, there isn't one team in the West that has done more than Colorado.
Just because the East is a bloodbath doesn't mean Sakic needs to be sucked into overpaying for rentals. Still plenty of other assets on the table that don't involve those three.
You can have Statsny for Beaucage + 3rd
He had a really good year last year too and can play in a teams top 6, a 3rd line shutdown role pp and pk. He can play both center and wing. He is exactly what teams are looking for come playoff time every year.Andrew Copp is all of a sudden worth a 1st because he is having a career year?
Copp is the definition of Swiss Army knife. Fits and can play up and down the lineup, in any position, and in any role.Andrew Copp is all of a sudden worth a 1st because he is having a career year?
It’s ok to say nothing of you don’t know who he is.Andrew Copp is all of a sudden worth a 1st because he is having a career year?
He's worth a first because the teams trading for him don't base everything on just looking at the stats page like some people...Andrew Copp is all of a sudden worth a 1st because he is having a career year?
