I don't recognize that guy as a Jet Fan poster. Looks 1/3rd party agitator.

Agree.
It looks like Jets & Stars fans both see it as a decent 1 for 1 with only this poster disagreeing.

Burmi gets a new start on a Dallas team that could use him. The Jets get a LD young enough to still develop.
Neither loses an important part of the current roster but gain that ever important potential in positions they need down the road.

Sometimes a player needs a different system or to work with new coaches to develop to their potential. Jets need a 6LD plus Toby is now 32. Spending some time with the Moose might turn his career around.

As a Jets fan I like this deal. Dallas can even keep Oleksiak. Putting Burmistrov on the roster of a division rival is enough return.

I didn't mean to come off as a troll or anything. I was just making a proposal.

I don't care for either team.

Well if you dont care for either team maybe hold off the offers involving both of them because that one was horribly lopsided

Oleksiak may still have some upside while Burmi's upside seems limited now.

I'd do it from a Jets perspective.

What's your excuse?
I'd do this in a heartbeat.

Burmi really needs a change of scenery. I still think there is an effective player in there, but it won't be realized in winnipeg.

chill out

Wasn't aggressive. Just pointing out that his trade was bad and since he said he had no side in the battle it makes sense. If you willingly admit you don't know the pieces how could you possibly attempt a reasonable proposal

I'm not gonna go out and make a minor Chicago - Vancouver proposal because outside if their top guys I don't have a clue what each fan base thinks of the other players

I could do with some defensive depth, even if he's not that great. Burmi isn't either, so what's there to lose.

Plus, just the thought about having Stanley, Myers, Buff and Oleksiak in the roster at some point... probably not happening due to Stanley being so raw, but that alone would be worth it.
