Askarov Time? Vitek Vanecek Injured In Loss to Penguins; No Update Available Postgame.

Hope to see Askarov in Sharks uniform soon. Playing with the Baracuda is taking a toll on his save%. Barracuda is penalty-capital of the world. Any goalie playing for the Cuda would have an ugly stats.

Sharks day off Sunday. And Askarov backed up Cuda vs Wranglers.

They could recall Carrire for upcoming AHL Canadian jaunt so Askarov could backup Blackwood.

It probably depends on medical update tomorrow. Should know around 1030 (morning skate time).

Bruh. Hand broken by future Duck (of course it is) Beckett Sennecke

Musty takes an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty firing a puck at the Gens bench after they score. He comes out of the box and scores on a 2-on-1. Then when he gets to the bench still gets benched the rest of the 1st period despite scoring out of the box. Then breaks his hand in the 2nd period

Well darn. But break > sprain nominally.

Still could be traded.

I'm very interested to see what happens with him. Like other '05 1st rounders Colby Barlow and Carson Rehkopf (and 2nd rounder Tristan Bertucci) he asks for a trade but unlike them, the team doesn't grant it. Was that because their ask was too high or because the market on Musty was too low? I guess we'll find that out at the OHL trade deadline but Sudbury isn't a bad team, I'm not really sure why he wanted to leave them in the first place

Their development and coaching style isnt what he needs.

It will be interesting to see how the new CHL/NCAA rules impact situations like this. CHL teams that aren't willing to grant a player's requested to be traded might lose that player to the NCAA for nothing.

Now in Musty's case, I suspect he may jumped to the NCAA regardless.

He literally already signed an ELC, so he is ineligible for the NCAA.
