Dallas could use some help up front with all their injuries and Burmistrov just isn't working in Winnipeg. I feel like he could possibly unlock some of that potential that Jets fans were once excited about and could maybe realize it in a new environment. Oleksiak gets a new chance somewhere else, most likely starting with the Moose in the AHL.

Mismanagement in his early years leading to him being a constant healthy scratch since he required waivers early plus him not taking a step forward on his own. There's the obvious question of whether he'd improve if he was a regular roster player which I'm sure he would. I just don't see it happening in Dallas.

Its not like the Stars need Burmistrov. We could use any forward shortterm and it would be nice to get rid of the 8D when you can barely dress 12 healthy enough forwards.

If you don't want Oleksiak fine . We can just ( hopefully ) waive him and call up a forward. Not giving you extra value for an optional player.

As a Jet's fan I'd do this deal...seems like a fair proposal as Dallas has injury problems and Wpg has minimal D depth. Nice work!
