Not if they get 1ov. Hagen is the clear-cut 1OV.I think SJ goes with Schaefer. I don't care who we get as long as it's in the top 4. We need help everywhere.

You could but I think they draft their future 2C for the next 20 years.Could potentially trade down.

it's early but i could see him going no 1Was an assist filled weekend for the top prospects this weekend!!!
Martone had 1G and 4A in 2 games
Misa had 4A in 2 games
Hagens 2A as well in 2 games
Schaefer had a 2 goal game but blanked in the other.
McQueen still out
Still Martone for me as our go to guy if available
could he come out early?Just noticed this Dupont kid that got granted exceptional status and is already over a PPG player in the WHL, as a d-man. He's Micki's son.
He's not eligible until the 2027 draft.
hell yes to the boldedHagens/Martone/Schaefer this draft. McKenna next. Dupont down the road.
Got yourself a retool on the fly, bud.
Yeah, I think I lean Martone. Would be hard to pass up Hagens or Schaefer if they're available though. I like Misa too, but not so much in a top-3 scenario.hell yes to the bolded
I’d add Misa and Frondell this year too. Any top 5 pick is fine with me. They’re all pretty close IMO
He's fortunate to play on an extremely solid team, but if you can catch some highlights of that kid, he's a treat to watch when you consider he's 15-1/2 years old moving the puck like he does in the WHL.Just noticed this Dupont kid that got granted exceptional status and is already over a PPG player in the WHL, as a d-man. Misa > Martone for me without digging in. Prefer the skating and idk if Martone is mean enough to overcome that.Yeah, I think I lean Martone. Would be hard to pass up Hagens or Schaefer if they're available though. I like Misa too, but not so much in a top-3 scenario.
Yeah, I always kinda shy away when a dude is labeled a power forward but Martone seems to have the skill to fall back on as he grows and gets stronger in a pro setting.Misa > Martone for me without digging in. Prefer the skating and idk if Martone is mean enough to overcome that.
But all good options. Like I said earlier in this thread this is a year where i wouldn’t be too upset at landing at 4/5th versus 2nd. Which I would not say for a draft like 2015, 2019 (predraft), 2023
Nice! Let us know what you think! He's fortunate to play on an extremely solid team, but if you can catch some highlights of that kid, he's a treat to watch when you consider he's 15-1/2 years old moving the puck like he does in the WHL.
I've never seen any defenseman attack like that in their draft-2 year, to do that in his draft-3 year is insane. Solid build as well to go with phenomenal edges, great vision and instincts and a dangerous enough shot.
Im going to the CHL vs USHL Top prospects game tomorrow night in London. Excited to hopefully see one or two Penguins of the future!
that's why i'm hoping for a top 5 pick. ..... and we are not the ones that pick him,But yeah, anybody in the top-3 or 4 would be an incredible addition to this prospect pool.
I also think someone real early is gonna get baited into taking McQueen because of his size. So someone else may drop.
His numbers are similar to McKenna last year, but as a dman. Insane. Pens sure do know when to tank.Just noticed this Dupont kid that got granted exceptional status and is already over a PPG player in the WHL, as a d-man. He's Micki's son.

I saw Marten Hagstrom while reading this.Hagens/Martone/Schaefer this draft. McKenna next. Dupont down the road.

Seek medical help, that’s an early warning sign of a strokeI saw Marten Hagstrom while reading this.
