Let's be honest, it takes many factors to win, not one player. However, when you have the chance to acquire the best player, you do it because he makes others around him better.

Easily yes. The Oilers have made the finals two years in a row with him making only 3.5 less than that, which is less than the cap is going up. The idea that you can’t win with him at that much is crazy.

We will never win the Cup ever. I don't know why other Leaf fans freak out so much.
We always get screwed over by the refs and the NHL. It's best not to give a crap about the league, department of player safety or the officiating.
Accept that you won't win the Cup and just enjoy the players you have.

But it would be nice to have another great player on our Team.

It would be fun to have McDavid on the Team, but we still not win the Cup with him.
I know the fans will turn on him after a few seasons of not winning anything.
