Griffin Reinhart for Mat Barzal and Mitchell Stephens. Even if you want to say it wasn’t for Barzal, it was for the pick, there were still plenty of studs available. Could’ve had Kyle Connor or Thomas Chabot. And Aho was taken two picks after Stephens as well.

Reinhart accomplished nothing and then was taken by Vegas where he has done nothing.

If Buffalo didn't get the picks in the deal, I'd have gone with the ROR trade. But since those picks still have the potential to be better than a 2nd pairing Dman (however small the odds are), I'll go with the Hall trade for now.

Trade was bad the second it was made. Reinhart was inching towards the draft bust bubble and his value was nowhere near a 1st + 2nd rounder.

Nobody but Peter Chiarelli & the Oilers Brain Trust thought Reinhart was worth a mid 1st + early 2nd.

The fact that Ottawa decided to enter a rebuild only a few months after the win now move and then losing Duchene in the process is hilarious.

Doesn't come even close to being the worst of the decade. Don't like the return for the Avs but at least they got Zadorov and Compher who are useful players.

The Forsberg, Teravainen and Reinhart trades were far worse than the Hall trade. The Duchene to Ottawa trade could go from bad to horrific depending on what happens with 4th OA.

It was 9 years 9 months ago but Kessel for Seguin and Dougie Hamilton. Bruins got to 2 Finals the next 4 years, lost both trades trading those guys away but when Chiarelli is your GM you're going to lose some.

I would vote for Hall but I wouldn't be surprised to find out I'm in the minority.
