Worst Plus/Minus Ratings In a Single Game?

What are the worst plus/minus ratings in single games you can think of for individual players?

Matthews' -6 tonight against the Hurricanes has to be tough to beat for a star player.
Marner was minus- 6 as well.
Knies , Nylander, Rielly not far behind. lol

I'm the last person to defend any leafs player but one game means nothing. Nada. Zero. Zilch.

This stuff happens over the course of a very long career.

Nothing burger IMHO

One game is never representative of a season or career.

i love that the brett lebda thing keeps coming up

it's just a random factoid on a random game that impacts nobody yet it's going to be the one lasting memory of his time as a player

As a Wings fan, that's not true. Any time a Red Wings defenseman rushes the puck up ice then immediately turns the puck over at the littlest sign of pressure after taking himself way out of position, I call it "pulling a Lebda."

A tale of two teams and two Dmen.
Over last two seasons - both on highly competitive teams in the Atlantic division playing about the the same minutes.
Leafs................ Rielly - 6

Panthers.... Forsling +77

Bill Mikkelson famously went -82 on the hapless 1974-75 Washington Capitals (in only 59 games!), but surely the worst 21-game stretch for any player in history has to be...

Jack Lynch
s-l400.jpg

A defenseman, Lynch went a wonderful -60 in his final 21 games of the season (1 with Detroit; 20 with Washington).

Instead of the 'Plus/Minus Award', the NHL should create the Jack Lynch Minus/Minus Award :).

(He did improve in 1975-76, however, going only -52 on the season!)
