Montreal
They have Hutson, Slaf, Demidov
+ roy, fowler, hage... suzuki at worst is a top 2 C, caufield leads league in goals, guhle is a top 3 D -at least 2 picks in the 1st round this summer + 7 in 1st 3 rounds...people are clueless

People were right about Montreal and Detroit, but it's interesting how there are so many Colorado predictions, and 5 years later they won the cup. Just shows how fast things can change.
montreal has only begun year three of a rebuild..
2nd youngest team in the league...AHL team also maybe youngest in the A and have begun 9-2...
beck, dobes, mailloux, Xhekaj, Tuch etc...all various interesting pieces to support the elite picks..

let's see in 2 years

Caufield leads the league in goals. Star?
He isn't as shit as people make him out to be here.
He's paid to score goals. I always thought that was an important component of winning.
He's locked up for 8 years, through his prime and it will be up to Hughes to make sure they draft size and skill for their top 6 to insulate the pipsqueak.
slaf and Laine were good starts. they need more.
Demidov and Hage are promising....Dach may end up being a winger.
We'll see

Buffalo still. Their stars are in their primes and they still cant compete. They cant get big UFA's because of location. They have not shown any indication the culture has improved there. I expect Adams to go next, some big trades, and another rebuild sadly.
