I mean the clip you show has “eh” “kind of clean” and “maybe a little bit of head” to describe the hit. By that player’s broadcast team…in a 5 second clip.
To call this “the worst major ever called” is among the most hyperbolic statements ever.

Looks like he hit through the body (even though there was head contact), don’t understand a penalty call there let alone a major.
He literally shouldered him in the head, and now Bischel is getting checked for a concussion. That usually doesn’t happen for a hit to the chest.

The 5'10" player intentionally shouldered the 6'7" player in the head without leaving his feet. That makes sense...
The contact from what I can see is to the chest first and then the head due to the Bischel putting himself in a vulnerable position. That's on Bischel

If a hit includes head contact is the standard for the major, fine. But bischel made the difference between hit and major, not cizikas. Bischel was reckless.
Whether it was intentional or not doesn’t matter. He shouldered him right in the face. That’s why he’s getting checked for a concussion, and why Cizikas is watching the rest of the game from the locker room.

I can understand thinking that was a bad hit when you watch it realtime, but they reviewed that and still tossed him?

You can get a concussion without head contact from his head snapping. The hit was shoulder on chest/shoulder you are blind. Ftr I hope it’s not a concussion and he is ok.
