Let's hear it. Who is the worst contract now and who is the future worst contract.
Pettersson ainec. Shesty is playing for a garbage team. Petey is the reason that the Canucks are garbage now. They weren't garbage when his head was screwed on right.
They traded the man who wanted to light that fire me thinks.Goalies can always rebound, and take over games, playoff series, and even entire seasons. Shesterkin has done this before and could do it again.
Elias Pettersson appears to have checked out after getting paid. Unless someone lights a fire under his ass to get him going again, that contract will be an albatross until it expires.
It’s not permanent, but he needs to rest it longer than an offseason then try to build strength back into it which would require him to do that well into a middle of a season. Because that means he would have to take himself out for a long time and alternatively it’s a condition you can play through— you get this slow version of him. Unless he rehabs it properly, there’s not a lot of confidence he can get back to his game.Goalies are famously enigmatic. Public opinion on the shesterkin contract is probably go between worst contract to worth every penny several times back and forth.
EP… who knows with that guy. Some rumours say he has a permanent knee injury or something?
I’ll take Shesterkin if have to. Neither by choice obviously.
Gotta wonder why they wouldn't just shut him down for the rest of the season at this point. It’s not permanent, but he needs to rest it longer than an offseason then try to build strength back into it which would require him to do that well into a middle of a season. I miss the days when EU40 was considered leagues above Matthews.
A poll wasn't mentioned.Death, taxes and Leafs fans complaining about a Matthews poll
