They have reason to - Canada has not shown much, and has failed to establish any kind of identity through 3 games. The lack of passing and puck possession is evident, the overall lack of size, and an inability to get shots from the blue line to the net pose problems for us going forward.

The good news is the other teams are flawed as well. But right now, Canada can't be considered any higher than 5th favourite to win Gold.

I could see them beating Sweden again tomorrow. But should they get by the Finns and meet Sweden again...well, I doubt they'll beat them third time.

That's fair and I agree. However, most bounces have gone against us and, if we catch a break or two, I believe this team will roll. If Canada gets past the Quarters, I believe we will win Gold.

As I said above, if we get thru the Quarters, we will win Gold. I don't believe we can, at this point, beat the Fins so, as you said, let's hope and pray the Czechs win tomorrow.

I believe Canada can get it going against the Swedes because the game means nothing. This game literally is a game Canada can try anything to get going. However its Canadas big names that need to step up
Look at Marner and Virtanen they have been absolutely invisible

And they should. Try different lines. Take chances. The results mean nothing and I don't care if we win or lose. If we lose 5-1 but find the right combination of players, it's worth it.
