Somehow Pronman (laughably) had Jecho ranked higher than Stenberg in the Blues pool.
Probably a failure to consider that playing against men in a low scoring league didn't mean he is not progressing straight toward the Blues' 1st line LW. He is a rich man's Neighbours

Finland is going to stomp out Slovakia. Outside of our two guys they are very bad

and now Finland scores a second, we are 4 minutes in ...

I stand by the assessment that if 15 wasn't on this Slovakia team they would be worse than Kazakhstan. This is going to get ugly. Can only hope 18 and 15 put up some points, because they surely aren't going to get a save, and the bottom half of the lineup can't make any sort of plays to try and create offense or prevent Finland from creating offense.

The Slovaks have been hugely disappointing all tournament. Strbak has had rough tourney. Dvo and Pekarcik are only guys who can create anything.

Urban is in goal for Slovakia now, down 3-0.

He is horrific, I mean he needs to retire after this tournament
He’s better than Lendak…

(no, I’m not saying Urban is good)

Slovakia is simply overmatched. Dvorsky’s goal was to get Slovakia past the QF but I don’t see it happening. Their D and goaltending and well, also the offense beyond him and Pekarcik is just bad.

They've had a lot of trouble just keeping the puck on their sticks and completing passes. They have it taken away inside their own zone, or in The Neutral Zone most times. When they DO get the puck into The O-Zone, it's usually on the dump-in, and they lose possession. They can't seem to even START to set up offence, let alone sustain any possession in The O-Zone. Might even be shut out. Pity for Dvorsky and Pekarcik getting any valuable experience.

Funny enough, 2nd Period starts, and both Dvorsky and Pekarcik get shots off.

But quickly, Finland scores again, and it's 4-0.
