It almost looked like Slovakia let them score twice. The goalie didn't even try on the first one
Big confidence boost for him, regardless.Dvorsky’s stated reason for playing in this tournament was to help Slovakia get past the Quarterfinals. He may have single-handedly saved them from relegation.
Kaz blew it giving up a 5 minute major
For real?? Lol
Great confidence boost and then reality check. Smack down!Thought Dvorsky had called game there.
Strbak has been incredibly disappointing. He is being asked to do more than he seems capable, but neither his skating nor puck skills look like the potential top 4D I thought he could be.Pekarcik gets the assist on Strbak’s GWG. Slovakia survives.
Strbak has had an awful tournament up to this point.
Here’s Stenberg’s practice injury:
Hopefully he’ll be alright. Could possibly be a concussion though.
Dvorsky looks as expected. I want him in the AHL as long as possible this year, with the idea that he comes up and doesn't go back down when it does happen.
Stancl and Ralph leveling up are the big takeaways. I definitely need to see Stancl take on Mrtka and Seattle on Jan 18.
Lindstein and Stenberg are real pieces, cannot wait for this.
Pekarcik is ok, Kos is ok, Jecho is ok, not sure which of the three big speedy guys will be the best, they each could be.
Jiricek just needs to play a bunch and stay healthy right now, that is his immediate task before we even think about him helping the Blues or when
