I feel like I'm in some alternate universe. On the main boards everyone keeps gushing about Heinola and...I don't get it. Just had another giveaway. He makes some good plays but he always makes errors, way more frequently than he should at this level for his reputation.

I like him. Very mobile and shifty with decent size. A little loose goosey and risk prone too, though.

I feel the same. If he was a Leafs/ Habs prospect, he'd be getting eaten alive. His decision making really makes me scratch my head sometimes. He's a good player though still.

Man, I am extremely impressed by Lundell. What a player! Plays a really strong two-way game, great on faceoffs and is a gamer.

I wonder if the Leafs would have taken him if he would have slipped to #15.

Probably would have. Very good player.

Heinola has a lot of offensive upside. Good vision, puck handling and mobility. I don’t think he’s appreciably better than Niemela however who is certainly the better defensive player and almost always makes the high percentage play.

I think he’s a good player but I found the same thing there. I don’t get it. Not that he isn’t a great prospect, but he hasn’t been doing anything worth the level of praise he’s getting. Got ripped in his thread in prospects for saying I didn’t think he was playing at the level of Cousins, Zegras, Byram, etc. lol

Man I wanted to trade up for him. Badly. Would’ve been immense for us. Perfect guy to anchor the third line behind Matthews and Tavares and take those tough defensive matchups. Great on the PK as well.

I don't see float at all. Forwards do have to float a bit to give D options or and other players outlets. This is not basketball or soccer where he's going to come within 4 feet to accept a pass

He has been one of their best all rounder forward
