Anthony Camara laying out Patrick Luza was one of the hardest hits I have ever seen. Search that, get pumped!

Personally, I did not like that hit. Did not seem clean. I don't like hits when the player is blindsided and is totally wrecked after the hit.

I prefer Hrasko on Hall instead. And Hall got up after the hit, even though he flew for ages. Best WJC hit imo. Get pumped :handclap:

It was clean. You have to keep your head up.

I think Hall was airborne for a full second. Hrasko caught him perfectly.

Right. Except that it wasn't. He got a 5 minute major plus a game misconduct. That's not a clean hit by any definition.
Shoulder was down; Camara didn't leave his feet; initial point of contact was below the head; Camara took less than three strides. It was a textbook clean hit. The referee responded to the injury and he did so incorrectly. Hockey is a physical game.

Agree, what a beauty.

This TSN video is also a classic every year. Perfect song: The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year!

This one is pretty awesome too.
Each Gold had something special.
2005: The PowerHouse team
2006: Canada's physical domination and Pogee's brilliance
2007: The SHOOTOUT against USA. The poise of Jonathan Toews.
2008: The OT goal and the dominance of a young 17 years old named John Tavares. (I didn't realize how dominant he was in 2008, until I watched this video)

Well we just disagree then. My point stands. That hit was difficult to watch. And the refs thought it was dirty enough to deserve 5 plus game for the Canadian.

Anyway good luck to Team Canada, once again their team is looking to be one of the favorites for the Gold medal this year.

Good luck to Team Slovakia. Enjoy the tournament.
