World Junior Championships Thread - Garand, Othmann, Cuylle win GOLD!

I think it is pretty clear that Hockey Canada isn't pickup up what Othmann is putting down. However, does anyone know why? What is it that Othmann did that made the Hockey Canada Org not like him?

I mean, honestly, if that shit Org doesn't like him, that probably means he's the only honest kid in the bunch, but you never know.

Ah, another conspiracy theory.

Hockey Canada wants to win.

If they're not using Othmann it's because they believe other players are more likely to help them win.

It's funny you say this because when Dubinsky first got here and took over that 3rd line center role he showed a lot of flashes of skill and good hands, especially when playing with Jagr. More than you would have expected from a guy with his Junior scoring career.


That kind of went out the wayside when he started embracing the grittier role though.

Cuylle hits everything that moves. Biggest guy on the ice and uses his body. On the 4th line but Decent period
 
Othmann must of committed attempted murder if he was taking penalties because it seems to take ALOT for Canada to get called for anything.

I think Othmann is being sent a message with the rest of the team that they will replace you if you take penalties, i feel he'll be in tomorrow
 
Really rough game for Canada, some egregiously sloppy turnovers. Almost scored on their own net in mind boggling passes to their goalie 3 different times. There's no way they get past team USA if they play like this.

Canada almost never plays as hard against minnows. That's not new for them.
