GDT: World Junior Championships 2013 - Discussion II

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. I get it that it's an awful call from the refs, but why even bother with the love taps if you know the refs are gonna call stuff by a different book?
 
Slow start, but decent finish to the period. No major complaints, other than that Murphy dud.
 
Good first period. Subban has been great. Don't get comfortable with a lead, keeping playing hard.

Galchenyuk the most dangerous forward, Trouba (again) the best D-man, and Gibson has kept them in this, despite giving up a bad goal.

Nuge for Canada up front, Harrington from the back, and Subban is playing really well.

Disappointed to see so little of MacK and Drouin.

Drouin should've finished that break, but hey, can't get them all.
 
A bit surprised the Americans let off on the physicality quite considerably about half way through the period. I expect they'll pick it back up in the 2nd.

Agreed with your viewing so far.

Trouba is going to be a heck of a defender for the Jets.

A real all situations kind of guy

Yeah, and Trouba was the guy everyone here HATED the idea of picking. "Just another American defenseman... blahblahblah". Some even said he was like Mike Komisarek with a little better offense... hahahah.

Trouba and Schiefle were GREAT picks. The Jets are going to get better, and fast.
A lot to be excited about in the Peg. Oh yeah, Burmistrov, Kane, Bogosian, Pavelec.... Going to be a fun team to watch.

I offered Kessel and Kadri for Trouba, Scheifele, and a 2nd on the trade board.

Quickly declined by many Jets fans.

Lots of exciting times just around the corner for Jets fans, agreed.

Pretty close. Anything you have over 50 is added and you were over 50k at one point. Then you also lost like 13k before that too. So you have won at least 63k that I know of. I didn't think I was this high, I think you are right behind me.
