World Cup: World Cup jersey thread

I've always liked the older designs for Canada

I still think the Canadian logo is underwhelming. The maple leaf needs a stem or something to give it a fuller effect.

Beyond that, I have to say, these have really grown on me. The colour of the jersey (red in particular) is Canada Cup-esque and the maple leaf on the sleeves is a subtle yet effective addition.

I've come around and I'd probably buy one.
 
What's the difference between the premier and the authentic jerseys? Trying to find the Swedish authentic home jersey, but they only have the premier... These jerseys are impossible to purchase in Sweden of course so I'll have to order it from Canada/US. Any ideas?

Thanks.. Missed the info. Not sure I'd like to sweat in it or start a fight, but I want the real thing so.. Extra 100 dollars should hopefully include numbers and name, but I doubt it.

Seems like they told adidas to have their way with them. They're bold designs and not too insulting because there's no history to the teams. It could be worse. It makes me curious though as to which franchise lets adidas run amok on them and gets worked over the hardest when adidas takes over the NHL uniforms. Buffalo was definitely that team when Reebok starting making the NHL uniforms a decade ago.
 
I've been seeing the World Cup jerseys on sale in stores here in Toronto.

Also, I guess jersey numbers are now finalized, since jerseys for the following players are being sold with the following numbers:

Team Canada
Benn #14 (obviously created before he pulled out of the competition)
Toews #16 - This was his 2010 & 2014 Olympics number
Seguin #19 - I'm surprised that he's wearing this number, considering Thornton has seniority over all other #19s on this roster, and Toews has seniority over Seguin (though Toews may have decided to stick with #16)

If you go to the NHL shop or Wikipedia who copied from there, you can see all jersey numbers have been finalized. Only thing still being worked out is a few Cs and As.

They both have a prominent N in the middle, that's the only similarity - it's an even further stretch then those who were complaining Canada's Olympic thirds looked like Nazi uniforms. Either way, it's hardly an issue when Russia has been allowed to use an actual hammer and sickle in the past decade.
