World Cup: World Cup jersey thread

It probably comes down to interpretation of the law. The national football team uses a single lion both in their logo and on their kits, yet the shield itself is of their own design. I haven't looked into what the official version's shield looks like, but the one the NHL chose is different from the one used back in the Czechoslovakia days, so perhaps the interpretation is that a single lion is OK as long as it's not in the official government legislated shield.

Its a small state symbol on the jersey. Shield is also the same. Soccer went around and design their own lion and shield as symbol of association not a country, however hockey association still use state symbols and in this way you have to use big state symbol.

To be honest, except it makes people in CZ pissed, I cant mainly accept that somebody outside Cz hockey association clearly decided what kind of symbol there should be no matter that this country has been using completely diiferent logo since the beginning without any exceptions....
 
The white USA jersey should have red stripes to mirror the red stripes of the US flag.
 
I hope somebody out there puts out a plain black NA hat. Having giant logos on the side and back seems to be a new trend. Or they're comically square with a flat brim. I just want regular hat that someone over 17 can wear.

I don't think they'll be on the NHL jerseys. Adidas makes the NBA jerseys and they didn't add stripes to them. They only put the stripes on soccer/football teams' kits and International jerseys which go through design changes every year. NHL/NBA uniforms, for most teams, have had the same look for years.

They're not on NBA jerseys, so unless a team gives them carte blanche to do whatever I don't think we're going to see them in the NHL too much. Maybe Stadium Series games, but not regular uniforms.

Soccer teams typically get a new jersey every year (the MLS, for instance, has teams getting a new home jersey one year and a new road jersey the next, then repeat), making it much easier for the stripes to work in. Hell, I'd say the old shoulder stripes improved the extreme majority of jerseys they were used on...the side stripes much less so.
 
I think they're fantastic and anyone saying they are worse than the Sochi jerseys must be blind.
 
Czech Republic has presented new jerseys for the World Cup which features greater coat of arms instead of lesser one.

The lesser coat of arms (with just 1 lion) cannot be used for purpose of representation.

Seriously, the old ones were so bad.

I wonder when they will release the jersey's with the ads on them? You need the ads for the authentic game jersey.
 
Love Canada's. I've always despised the 2010 Olympic jerseys and all the versions that followed. I hate the red shoulder on the white jerseys. This one is perfect.
