Is it really? Their/your(?) soccer NT badge is very similar and Retro jerseys they wear every now and then often have the lone lion crest.
I'm sure McDavid has always dreamed of putting on that dull jersey in order to play against his own country.

I wish the crest was a bit more prominent, but overall I like the Finland jerseys. They have a very clean, old school 1980s vibe.
I'm hoping that Adidas has a bunch of Finland apparel for the world cup. Getting the 2014 Olympic "flag" jersey was a bit of a hassle, I'm looking forward to being able to just order stuff from NHL.com!

There has been a great tradition that both soccer and hockey Czech NT jerseys had an actual Coat of arms as the jersey badge. Czech soccer federation decided to change it with their own symbol few years ago, which is the one you posted in the last picture - poor imitation of lone lion crest. Needless to say it was met with criticism but it has stayed unfortunately (isn´t that soccer crest awful?). And now even hockey?
Don´t know and don´t care about how some retro jerseys look like.

The gimmick team jerseys are barf but the national jerseys mostly look quite good. I don't think they did a good job on the maple leaf, though.

Like, but don't love the jersey.
They are yellow, that's just the backing light washing it out and fooling your eyes.
Over-all they're simple, decent, but underwhelming. The only one I'd consider buying (on sale) is the North American U23. The Team Europe jersey is simply atrocious and by far the worst of the bunch. It looks like something made for a generic video game team 15 years ago. I really like the embroidery on Sweden's crowns, the rest of the jersey though is among the worst of the bunch. It just looks cheap. We're definitely not going to be seeing these in the stands for years on end once this sorry excuse of a tournament is done.

USA took what was nice about the Sochi Team USA jerseys and made it way more bland with a hideous logo.
Sweden went with the atrocious pajama jersey look, a yellow jersey with blue stripes on just the wrist. It just looks bad.
The Adidas logos look nice on some of the jerseys and bad on others. It'll be interesting to see what they do with NHL jerseys in a couple of years.

That's by far the best Russian sweater I've ever seen. Simple and clean, doesn't over crowd the logo with complicated and unnecessary squiggly lines all over the place like so many other Russian entries.
