Portugal going out would at least mean I don’t have to listen to Derek Rae’s “authentic” pronunciation of names like Fernandes anymore. Sounds like he’s calling Bruno - Fernange.

Thought it after the last round was completed and still think it now, and this is no disrespect to the other teams but the winner of England/France will win this tournament. So I think France will repeat.

The narcissist is crying.

Damn. We probably saw Ronaldo’s last World Cup and Portuguese match. One of the legend out now

Ya I’m def rooting against both those teams haha.

Ronaldo gets a lot of flak, some deserved, some undeserved.

But look at him crying tears of joy to see the first African team advance to a World Cup semifinal.

Even in the moment of great personal defeat, he sees the bigger picture. A true ambassador of the sport.

Morocco into the semis and the only goal they have conceded was an own goal against Canada.

Amazing run.

Two teams out of Canada's group into the semis and neither is Belgium.

It will be an incredibly tough ask for Morocco, but they have the opportunity to become the first nation outside of Europe and South America to play in a World Cup Final.

Truly an amazing run with a gigantic hurdle to glory in front of them.

What an epic win. With 2 of the starting four defenders injured too.

Here in the Netherlands it is a party... cars driving round with flags beeping horns... P
people walking down the street playing drums.

Best defence in the tournament. Hopefully Mazraoui, Aguerd and Saiss (injured today) are all fit for the semis.
