Portugal is generally a likeable group, outside of one massive outlier and a slightly less massive outlier...

I hope Morocco frustrates them and knocks them out, though... the longer Portugal sticks around, the worse this World Cup gets.

Has Ronaldo had a free kick get past the wall in this decade?

Good for Ramos. But Felix has also had a great game as well
Felix is a great passer and pulls off a lot of things that only a few players can do. Just needs more consistency. Guess that is what makes the great ones .....

I’m just kinda laughing at Pepe at this point

Girlfriend now has to watch Portugal vs Morocco in the QF...

she does not care that much about football in general but is already not looking forward to this one aha.

Supporting Portugal 60:40 in it. But happy whoever wins. But at same time hard for her to watch them vs eachcother.

Tbh I kind of would prefer if Morocco did. Partially as will be a bigger party here in the Netherlands!

Idk why but I never root for England haha. But I do want to see a new team win

I never root for England because of the damn #itscominghome bs and the fact we'd never hear the end of it. The only exception was the recent Euro where they lost to Italy, as I was watching it w an English friend in a beerhouse we had booked a table at. The stupid f***s closed at midnight [despite having full capacity and soccer going to ET], so we drunkenly sprinted to nearest other pub [400 meters or so] to catch the penalties. How my repeatedly injured ankle - that holds together only with scotch tape, good thoughts and snots even on a good day - endured that shitshow - I don't know.

Ah, memories.

I sort of kind of want to bet something on CRO [the coefs/handicap etc. are huge], but the one remaining brain cell I have after this crazy day tells me not to.
