Not that they'll care since they're out, but Cameroon is the first African nation to defeat Brazil at a World Cup and the first African nation to keep a clean sheet versus Brazil at a World Cup.
Brazil failing to win means no teams finished the group stage 3-0.
Correctly picked 12/16 teams to advance to the knock out stage, though not all in the right seed. Missed Australia (Denmark), Japan (Germany), Morocco (Belgium), and Korea (Uruguay).
Now for a refreshed bracket prediction for further embarrassment:
Not really sure who I would favor after the group stages. Probably France but Im not sure of their midfield. If Neymar is fine I like Brazil as long as Fred doesnt play much . I actually think if Ronaldo were to get hurt again Portugal can be dangerous. Not sure what to make of Spain, Pedri and Gavi might just be a cycle away.
Got to give the guy credit, LvG has set them up to hit them on the counter and they playing right into still. He is still such a boring manager though.
Anyway. Got to watch the Men Who Sold the World Cup on HBO earlier today.
Didn't expect that the person I would end up hating the most was the empty head of Mary Lynn Blanks.
