They played great against Vegas and lost a close game since then it's been meh.

This team just craters mentally when they face any sort of adversity. Teams lose and they need to figure out how to not let that affect them so badly.

What I see is that we get some damn good chances that Binnington had to save. Good on him, and he's had some luck. Meanwhile at our end it's been juicy rebounds some bad D plays, and also some bad luck. I still admit that the Blues were better but the score flatters them a lot

McDavid has been a floating spinning top in our zone for 2 periods. What happens? Award him with Drai as a linemate, and the puts him out on a PK where he looks lost and confused, almost scores on Skinner, shit clearing attempt, and then an Ill advised challenge to the point that opens a cross ice seem and sees him late getting back to collapse on the rebound.

You don't need to sit him in the press box. But sit him for a f***ing shift. Or demote him to the fourth line with Janmark and Brown. The excuse of "needing him out to get back into the game" that he dug us into is BS. One or two shifts won't make the difference in the second period.

B-but McDavid had a 6 point night last game to drive them to a win, he deserves a night off.

For some reason he threw McDavid and McLeod out as the starting unit. They lost the draw and McDavid failed to clear when he got the puck and then it’s in our net.

He's a backup that we're trying to run like a starter. It's untenable.

This is the most bizarre season ever.

It's bizarre for most teams but this is typical McDavid era Oilers. They're one of the streakiest teams in the league. Granted, the winning streaks outnumber the losing streaks mainly because they have the best player in the league but as a team there's just no consistency. It all boils down to McDrai.

There just isn't much of a TEAM here. Bottom 6 MIA, defense back to being trash and goaltending not good enough to compensate for trash defense. It's the same old story every year. The aberration was their defense performing at a high level for an extended period but lets be quite honest, a lot of that had to do with the butter soft schedule.
