Absolving the defence of their hand in this (as well as Draisaitl's) is equally egregious.

Draisaitl has been our best player this season. Not saying much I realize.

Maybe the very high priced McD could be more than a PPG and stop throwing pucks away. McD gave up a breakaway while on PP nobody talking about that.

7mins into 2nd McD passed the puck to a Shark right at his own line almost creating a GA. Nobody talking about that.

Yup. Him deciding to start stupidly experimenting to start the season absolutely messed up the entire team. All he had to do was keep things the way they were and the team would keep plugging away.
