I’m glad somebody else saw this.
Everybody was puck watching but MacK was in the slot and just got mesmerized watching Karlsson in the corner.
He is so dumb in our own zone. Can’t stay focused.

Problem is MacKinnon is the center. He has to be the guy with his head on a swivel, he is the main communicator, he dictates who goes where defensively because his ice is the middle of the ice.
Instead he's floating towards the puck carrier and allowing guys to sneak behind him.
I still think that's more on Middleton than MacK. Looks like MacK was trying to take away the passing lane and puck came out faster than he was expecting. Middleton is the one that needs to be on his man and lifting the stick.
